This is Sanaphantastron!

Fahco Labuel, alien, synthesizer player, drum programmer, hexaphonist and sound designer at Sanaphantastron

Fahco Labuel

Fahco Labuel is responsible for sequencers, synthesizers, drums, and virtual vocals at Sanaphantastron. He is, in a sense, the "digital head" of Sanaphantastron. He is the creator of psychedelic sequencer sounds and exotic synthesizer tones. He also contributes complex drum patterns, often embellished with vibrant fills. He sometimes uses samples from classic drum machines, such as the TR-909, but often also creates his own fully synthetic drum sounds. Originally a sound designer, he is very experienced with a very rare device called a hexaphone, which is a type of synthesizer. He has also extensively studied formant synthesis. This led to the creation of artificial vocals, which he programmed entirely using text, in the classic style. Before joining Sanaphantastron, Fahco Labuel had never been a member of any band. He claims to have come to Earth from another planet. You can find Fahco Labuel's story here (German only).

Little Joe, bassist, guitarist, singer and rock composer

Little Joe

He has been responsible for the low notes as a bass guitarist in many bands. At Sanaphantastron you can hear him on the track Veto Power. Furthermore, he was a live musician on more than one occasion. Having grown up in Düsseldorf, he founded his first band there together with his older brothers. Originally inspired by progressive and krautrock, he then played with the German-language Punk and NDW bands Abseits and Quax Und Die Randalierer. Starting in the 1990s, he increasingly turned to calmer tones of Folk Rock in the band Treibsand in Dormagen. Having moved to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, he played in the band Prime Time in the early 2000s. Until 2017 he was the bassist of the band Unkraut in Schwarzenbek (near Hamburg), later also with Nichten and Neffen and AmpCrash. Little Joe plays electric bass and guitar and sings songs, some of which he composes himself. Among his greatest musical influences, he cites the bands Eloy and Wishboone Ash.

Teddy Tomate

For Sanaphantastron, Teddy Tomate sings the song Teddy Bear together with Sally Aidualc. He dreams of a big career as a music star and longs to be in the spotlight. However, upon closer reflection, he's quite ambivalent about it, torn between the desire for rebellion and protest and the dream of a harmonious life. Above all, he simply wants to do good for the world! As you can see in the picture, Teddy Tomate not only sings but also plays the keyboard. He prefers to use very simple models from the 1980s. You can find out more about Teddy Tomate here (german only).

Che Guitare, guitarist, sound tinkerer and equipment developer, circa 1986

Che Guitare

The guitarist for Sanaphantastron gained his first band experience in Rock ’n’ Roll and Glam Rock. Primarily inspired by 1970s Electronic and Krautrock bands, he has focused on experimental music for years, although he has also played in various rock bands. Che Guitare is currently the lead guitarist for the band AmpCrash, where he also plays bass on some songs. He designed various electronic devices, including guitar amplifiers and effects units, with a particular focus on analog technology. He prefers playing Strat-style guitars, which are mostly heavily modified and improved low-budget copies. He played all of the guitar parts for Sanaphantastron, and he never uses preset effects sounds. More information about Che Guitare can be found here (German only).
